About the Department
M.Sc. Mathematics course was introduced as a regular course from the academic year 2013-14. The initial intake of students was only 30 at left flank of LMD campus in University College of Science, Karimnagar. Later Department of Mathematics was shifted to the present main campus located at Malkapur road, Karimnagar in 2015 with sufficient well furnished class rooms and laboratories to conduct all the practicals(LATEX,MATLAB) of the subject.
The Department of Mathematics came into existence in the academic year 2013-2014 with the introduction of M.Sc.Mathematics course as a regular course, with the approval of Monitoring & Development Committee held on 1st October 2012. The department is enriched with four faculty members who did their doctoral research and pursuing their P.hd on vivid fields of Functional Analysis, Fluid Mechanics and Solid Mechanics etc.
