Dr. Daida Vijayprakash is with more than a decade of experience, he specializes in "teaching English literature and post colonial fiction and Modern Indian English translations" to post graduate students. His academic background includes an M.A. in English from Osmania University, and Ph.D. in Canadian fiction from Kakatiya University.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, held significant academic leadership roles, has served as the NSS Program officer from 2014 to 2025 in SU. Nodal Officer for Youth Parilament (conducted in SU) in 2018, as well as the member of various faculty development and syllabus design programs. He has also played a crucial role in institutional development by taking classes in "Skill Development Centre" which was established in 2024 in SU. Presently doing the administrative post of as University Public Relation Officer also from January 2025 onwards currently holds the position of Head(l/c), department of English.

Dr. Daida Vijayprakash has an extensive publication record, with research papers published in reputable international and national journals. His work covers a range of topics, including "Learner-centered Pedagogy, English for specific purposes, tribal literature and modern european translations". His research explores diverse authors and themes, including Gopinath Mohanthy, Chinua Achebe, Mahasveta Devi, and feminist perspectives in literature.

Beyond publishing, active participation in both national and international, seminars, workshops demonstrates his ongoing commitment to professional development, pedagogical innovation and becoming an instrumental in various curricular and co-curricular activities in society.
