The Department of Telugu offers library facility in the department. It has a collection of journals, dictionaries, story collections and novels, poetry collections to date. Extension lectures are arranged on regular basis to enhance the subject skills among the students. Educational tours are undertaken to promote the learning and research among the students. Maatru Bhasha Dinotsavam is celebrated annually in the department to inculcate among the students the glorious history of Telugu.Another programme on Yellamma Oggu Katha –Kaalaa Pradarshana was organised on 18/3/2015 for the benefit of students. Kaloji Jayanthi was commemorated on 9/9/2015 as Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam. An enactment of NARTANASHALA was staged. Student programs included among the celebration of folk dances of Telugu culture. Cinare Sahitya Samaalochana Sadasu-2017 was organised in the College of Arts and Social Sciences. Chindu Bhaghavatam –a play in Telugu was staged by the folk artists.
