Dr. Kiran Saini, I/c Head, Department of Botany, UCSc, Satavahana University, Karimnagar. He received his M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Mycology from Kakatiya University. His primary field of research is mycology and mycotoxins with an emphasis on paddy and he has been working in this area for the last 18 years and has twelve years of teaching experience in post-graduation. He published 32 research papers in reputed national and international journals. He is also an established author with contributions to scientific literature through books and book chapters. He was awarded two fellowships from UGC New Delhi for pursuing Ph.D research work. He is an Associate fellow of the Telangana Academy of Sciences, Hyd. He has successfully served in various administrative positions such as Office Invigilator, Avenue Plantation Coordinator and Academic Audit cell Coordinator. Currently, he is working as a Boys hostel Warden.
