Dr.Manthena Vara Prasad is Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics. Presently he is the Registrar of the Satavahana Univrsity. He is also Head, of the department of Economics and previously worked as Principal, University college of Arts and Social Sciences. He has an excellent academic background right from school days. He has been a first classer all through the education. He holds M.A. Economics from University of Hyderabad, M.Phil from JNU, New Delhi and Ph.D. from OU, Hyderabad. He began his career as a Lecturer in Economics in Govt Degree College before was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2007. As part of academics, Dr. Prasad attended orientation Courses, refresher courses and a few workshops. He has to his credit seven published papers in reputed journals and presented twenty seven papers in seminars and conferences. He has completed one UGC research-sponsored project. He is the member of distinguished academic bodies. He worked as the Chairman, Board of Studies; Dept of Economics. He successfully organized two national seminars and a ten day workshop on Research Methodology course sponsored by ICSSR. Overall, he has a teaching experience of 19 years at UG and PG levels. His areas of specialization are Agricultural Economics and Industrial Economics. To his credit he has edited one book and guided a Ph.D scholar.

Dr. Koduri Srivani is Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Satavahana University, Karimnagar, Telangana State. She obtained her M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D. degrees from Kakatiya University and qualified the National Eligibility Test in Economics, Education and State Eligibility Test in Economics. She got 9th rank at university level in Under Graduation, 1st rank in Post Graduation, 4th rank in Master of Education and received three gold medals for 1st rank in Economics at 18th convocation from Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Lingamurthy, Kakatiya University. She had 10 years of teaching experience at Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels in various private colleges, Govt. degree colleges, Telangana University and Satavahana University. So far she participated and presented the research papers in various National (42) and International (04) seminars which are published in various books and reputed (28) National and International journals. She attended orientation Courses, refresher courses and a few workshops. She has supervising the one Ph.D. scholar of Telanagana University at present. She is life member of Telangana Economic Association, Hyderabad, Telangana State. Now, she is the Chairperson, Board of Studies in Economics. Her areas of interest are Micro Economics, Rural Development, and Economics of Education.

She has worked in different capacities as Office Invigilator, Governing Body Member, BOS Member, Member, Anti-Ragging Committee, Member, Hostel Member, and Joint Inspection Committee for Inspection of Private Colleges Committee, Presiding for Bye Elections and enumerator for Comprehensive household survey of Telangana. She worked as a Director for Women Empowerment Cell at SKBR Govt. Degree College, Macherla, Guntur (Dist.). Presently, he is holding the position of Warden for Girl’s Hostel, Satavahana University.
