Dr. Nazimuddin Munwer is joined in Department of Urdu as Assistant Professor (c) on 2008. Regularise his service as Assistant Professor on 2015.Now he is working as Chairman BOS In Department of Urdu Dr. Nazimuddin Munwer is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 21 years of teaching experience in the field of Urdu language and literature. He holds Master’s degrees in Urdu, Persian, and English, along with a B.Ed., a Diploma in Arabic, and a Ph.D. in Urdu from Osmania University. He has also successfully completed Subject Refresher Courses in Oriental Languages, Modern Languages, Psychology, and Education, further enriching his interdisciplinary academic expertise. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urdu at Satavahana University, where he teaches postgraduate and doctoral students. His areas of specialization include the History of Urdu Language, Gair Afsanvi Adab, and the intellectual and literary contributions of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Munwer has held several important academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Urdu. He has also served as Sports Board Secretary and Chief Warden, while actively contributing to numerous university-level committees. Furthermore, he has been appointed as a University Nominee for affiliated colleges, significantly contributing to academic governance and institutional development.
Dr. Munwer has made remarkable contributions to research and literature, with 33 research publications and 21 book chapters to his credit. He has authored three books and edited several important literary works, including Gulistan-e-Haqqani Al Qasmi, Gulistan-e-Azad, Gulistan-e-Abbas, Gulistan-e-Hind, Gulistan-e-Sir Syed, Shahid-e-Adab, Zia-e-Adab, and Gul-e-Adab. He has also translated the book Contribution of Muslims in Developing Sanskrit. In addition, he actively engages in the translation of scholarly books and articles, contributing to the wider dissemination of knowledge and literary heritage. His academic profile is further strengthened by innovation and interdisciplinary work. Dr. Munwer holds two international patents — one from the United Kingdom for a Language Learning Device and another from Canada related to Urdu literature publication — reflecting his commitment to modernizing language education through innovative approaches.
